The Nature Index 2022 ranked Ubon Ratchathani University 11th in Thailand for overall research, 5th for research in earth sciences and environmental science, and 6th for chemistry research. The Nature Index is an academic ranking based on a database of research published in high-quality, peer-reviewed, internationally recognized journals covering 82 research journals around the world.
