On November 24, 2021, UBU warmly welcomed H.E. Mrs. Suchitra Durai, Ambassador of India to Thailand, and her colleagues from the Indian Embassy. The visit was to inaugurate the India Corner, connected with the India Studies Group (ISG) at the UBU Office of Academic Resources (the UBU Library). Dr. Parkpoom Subnugarn, Director of the Office of Academic Resources, gave a welcome speech, and UBU president Assistant Professor Dr. Chutinun Prasitpuriprecha, gave the opening speech. In the afternoon, the ambassador visited the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, the Faculty of Science, and the Faculty of Applied Arts and Architecture. Finally, the ambassador presided over the opening ceremony of a collaborative project between ISG-UBU and the Provincial Public Health Office: Yoga for Community Healthcare Workers and Public Health, at the That District Health Promotion Hospital, Warin Chamrap, Ubon Ratchathani.
