On October 25, 2021, Ubon Ratchathani University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Chutinun Prasitpuriprecha, UBU president along with the executive board and staff, visited the experimental farm at the Faculty of Agriculture while taking the new UBU Smart Trams. On this occasion, Dr. Narintorn Boonbrahm, the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture presented vegetable planting on tables without soil. This project was hosted by students from the Faculty of Agriculture. The planting was higher from the ground to promote disease reduction and prevent pests. The executive board subsequently visited the experimental coffee plant installation used for teaching horticulture. The coffee plantings were comprised of Arabica and Robusta beans. Finally, the executive board visited the Hom Warin rice field which has been optimized to support critical environments and grow well in the Northeast. This activity is considered as general business visiting and planning for the development of agricultural tourism in the future by raising the quality of teaching and learning as well as innovating and furthering UBU Faculty of Agriculture research.
