UBU congratulates Miss Ketsirin Telawan and Miss Yatima Purinoparat from the Rubber and Polymer Technology Program, Faculty of Science, for their third place in a project competition at the university level. Assistant Professor Dr. Sarawut Prasertsri served as the advisor for the project. The product named “Hug Rubber Bag” was presented to the competition, “Environmentally Friendly Packaging for Seed Bag Replacement” from Forest Resource Management Bureau 7, Ubon Ratchathani Branch. On 16 August 2021 at the branch office, Mr. Praitoon Boonsukweerawat, Director of Forest Resource Management Bureau 7, Ubon Ratchathani Branch, gave the awards to Miss Ketsirin Telawan and Miss Yatima Purinoparat. Assistant Professor Dr. Sarawut Prasertsri offered thanks to the Forest Resource Management Bureau for holding the competition. This project encourages awareness of the plastic waste problem in order to preserve the environment. This award enhances the reputation of the university and the Faculty of Science on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of Ubon Ratchathani’s founding.
