Ubon Ratchathani University in cooperation with the Ubon Ratchathani Province government and private sector has organized the Ubon Ratchathani Candle Festival Exhibition 2021 with the theme “The Precious Culture of Ubon Ratchathani” at Ubon Ratchathani National Museum from 22-28 July 2021. The live-stream exhibition provided the story and beliefs of the candle festival from past to present and imitation candles were awarded according to the previous festival. Ubon Ratchathani fabric was designed by students from the Faculty of Applied Arts and Architecture, UBU. Moreover, there was a discussion of the legend of the candle festival and a demonstration of ice carving. This activity was also held online.
