Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn conferred the degree certificates upon the graduates from Ubon Ratchathani University for the academic year 2017 at the His Majesty’s 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary Commemorating Building, Ubon Ratchathani University on 20 December 2018.

The graduates of this year made up the 27^th generation since the university was first established. There were 3,196 graduates consisting of 12 doctoral degrees, 108 master degrees and 3,076 bachelor degrees from 10 faculties and 1 college. These students completed their studies during the 2017 academic year and received their well-earned degrees this past week.

On this occasion, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn gave a royal message of guidance to the graduates stating, “...The graduates have been well educated and now have become highly academic persons in the society. You are now ready to work and live with other people. The most important morality trait youshould have is humility. Humility is accepted as a powerful tool that promotes an interpersonal relationship.  Humble and gentle behaviors create harmony and peace.  In contrast, aggressive behavior makes conflict among people and creates disunion. Therefore, the graduates should have humility and behave humbly and gently to all people. As a result, you will receive love, respect and cooperativeness in return that lead to the success in your life.”
