UBU is running a total of 30 hours-English training courses to UBU staff, students and any interested persons throughout the community. The aim of the courses is to enable the participants to communicate in English for particular careers. The courses being offered at the moment are as follows: English for Factory Staff, Business English at International Firms, English in Workplace and English in Business. These classes are taught for 6 hours per day and are organized on every Saturday. The first classes were conducted on 5 January 2019 at the Central Learning Building at UBU and will continue to run until 2 February 2019. On the very first day of the training courses, there were an outstanding total of 210 participants who attended the classes.
In addition to the first four courses, UBU is preparing to organize three more courses: English for Hotel Services, English in Hospital and English in Aviation starting in February 2019. UBU welcomes both UBU and non-UBU staff and students to apply for the courses without any charges of tuition fees.
