UBU attended a ceremony to pay obeisance to the royal portrait of His Majesty the King to celebrate the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King’s birthday on 28 July

On 28 July 2019, Ubon Ratchathani Province organized an honorable event to pay obeisance and partake in a candle-lighting ceremony to honor His Majesty the King. The event was held at Praipayorm Conference hall, Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University. Mr. Sarit Witoon, the Governor of Ubon Ratchathani Province, presided over the ceremony and led representatives from government organizations and private sectors in Ubon Ratchathani to salute in front of the royal portrait of His Majesty the King. Afterward, he paid obeisance to the royal portrait of His Majesty the King, opened cone flowers, saluted, and gave a blessing speech, respectively. At the end of the ceremony, they all sang the Thai royal anthem or Sansoen Phra Barami and Sadudee Jomracha together and shouted ‘Long Live the King’ three times.

On this special occasion, Mr. Atthapong Karwan, Vice President for Personnel Administration, led UBU staff in attending the event.
