UBU student won first place at the Japanese Language Speech Contest hosted by the Embassy of Japan in Thailand

UBU is very delighted to report that Ms. Jiraphorn Phokphain, 3rd year Japanese and Communication student at the Faculty of Liberal Arts, won first place at the 46th Annual Japanese Language Speech Contest. The competition was co-organized bythe Embassy of Japanin Thailand, the Japan Foundation Bangkok, Japanese Chamber of Commerce, Bangkok and Thai-Japanese Association and was held at Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at Central World on 25 August 2019. There were contestants from 10 different universities/institutions around Thailand who attended the competition. The winner of the contest received a round trip air-ticket to Japan as the reward.

UBU congratulates Ms. Jiraphorn Phokphain for her success and thanks her for helping expand the reputation of UBU. Her accomplishment reflects the reliability of the quality of curriculum for the Japanese and Communication major and the university as a whole.
