On 9-10 September 2019, the Office of Computer and Networking (OCN) at UBU hosted a workshop on UBU YouTuber Camp 2019 at the OCN Building. Assistant Professor Dr. Chutinun Prasitpuriprecha, President, presided over the workshop while its rationales and objectives were reported by Mr. Surasak Wanram, Vice Director for Administration and Services of the Office of Computer and Networking. A total of 45 UBU staff and students participated in the workshop. The workshop aimed to provide effective techniques to produce attractive media content and presentation on YouTube channels.
On the first day, OCN invited Mr. Surasak Pongsorn, director of a well-known movie titled Thai Baan The Series and his team members to give a special lecture on how to produce captivating visuals. Afterward, the keynote speakers led the participants in producing and editing their own presentations. While making the presentation, the keynote speakers guided the participants through the steps and provided insightful feedback on how to improve their presentations. The participants gained professional editing techniques that could enhance their own channel’s overall appeal. On the following day, a workshop on how to use the YouTube application with professional techniques was delivered by Mr. Chitchai Lertsiriwattanawong,Computer Technical Officer- Professional level. Moreover, a seminar titled UBU YouTuber: Creative Media Production Techniques was also organized. The keynote speakers of the seminar were Mr. Apisit Soimalun, a YouTuber and an online game shout-caster from Back Getsu Channel, Mr. Pornchai Dutda, a YouTuber covering music videos from Khamla Production Channel, and Mr. Napattarawong Soontarin, a YouTuber presenting relaxing nature sounds from Napattharavong SuntharinChannel. Furthermore, during the final session of the workshop, the participants had a chance to show their presentations they created to publicize UBU.
