The Faculty of Management Science at UBU develops academic collaboration with Far East University, the Republic of Korea.

On 7 November 2019, two notable UBU representatives, Associate Professor Dr. Roongrasamee Boondao, Dean of Faculty of Management Science, and Mrs. Jiaranai Chaiyakarn Zheng, Assistant to the Dean for International Relations and Corporate Communication, visited Far East University (FEU), the Republic of Korea. The purpose was to deliver the Memorandum of Understanding signed by Assistant Professor Dr. Chutinun Prasitpuriprecha, the President of UBU. Once at the university, Professor Sangho Han, the President of FEU, mutually signed the MoU which indicated the official commencement of the MoU. In addition to the signing, the relevant parties from both universities discussed strengthening academic cooperation between the Faculty of Management Science, UBU and FEU. The activities would involve exchange of learning and teaching management techniques, and improvement of curriculums.

The first official MoU signed between UBU and FEU was from March 2012 to March 2017. An agreement of student exchange was signed and executed from January 2013 to January 2018. With this, UBU and FEU have collaboratively organized and accomplished a number of activities together, including professor visits, from 2012 to 2018.

Associate Professor Dr. Roongrasamee Boondaoreported that the renewal of the MoU with FEU represents the continued friendship and commitment towards developing more academic collaborations. The Faculty of Management Science, in particular, aims to enhance their management of student learning, teaching and curriculum design through the partnership with FEU. They want to ensure that their students are equipped with the skills needed for our advanced, globalized and technological society. Furthermore, the Facultyproudly aims to produce outstanding graduates in its provided business concentrations of Accounting, Business Management, Marketing, Retail Business Management, Finance, Hospitality and International Business Management. The graduates are highly expected to serve as significant assets and contributors towards the development of Thailand’s national economic system.

Through this renewed alliance with FEU, the Faculty of Management Science at UBU is preparing to become a leading school for Business Management within ASEAN. They are motivated to work with global partners to diligently prepare students, promote innovation and help improve life quality for all.
