On 22 November 2019, Assistant Professor Dr. Adun Janyalertadun, Vice President for Administration, Assistant Professor Dr. Chalermchai Wongrak, Assistant to the President for International Relations and Education, Ms. Charuayporn Santhaweesuk, Vice President for Student Development and Alumni Relations, Dr. Piyanat Soikham, Assistant to the President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Saksit Sripa, Dean of Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Associate Professor Dr. Roongrasamee Boondao, Dean of Business School, Assistant Professor Dr. Kanya Jungvimutipan, Dean of Faculty of Applied Arts and Architecture along with representatives from the Faculty of Liberal Arts, the Faculty of Agriculture and the Office of Academic Resources Center welcomed ProfessorYue Hui, Dean of the School of International Chinese Language Education and Vice Dean of the College of Humanities, Jilin University, PR.China. The welcoming event was held at the Boontrarik Meeting Room, the Office of the President Building.The event allowed the two universities to discuss the possibilities of launching academic activities together.
Proudly, UBU currently holds two Jilin University alumni, namely one being Dr. Natthawiut Sukprasong, a current lecturer at the Faculty of Liberal Arts in the Chinese and Communication program. Dr. Sukprasong played an integral role in connecting the two universities together and flawlessly translated from English to Thai to Chinese during the official welcoming meeting to ensure each individual in the meeting room understood the conversation.
UBU is pleased to welcome Professor Yue Hui and her colleagues and are looking forward to the development of collaborative activities between UBU and Jilin University.
