UBU conducts formal screening procedures for COVID-19 during student exams

The Division of Educational Services, the Faculty of Nursing and the College of Medicine and Public Health co-organized a screening process to identify any unwell symptoms of students and test proctors before entering their exam rooms from 2 to 13 March 2020. The screening checkpoints are located in central learning building 3, 4 and 5. All students, proctors and staff are informed to arrive at the checkpoint 30 minutes before the exam start time to have their body temperature tested via a body infrared thermometer. The screening takes place twice a day from 8.00 -09.30 am and 12.00-13.30 pm. This formal procedure follows one of the UBU prevention policies and procedures against the outbreak of the New Corona Virus 2019 on campus by the lead of Associate Professor Dr. Ariyaporn Pongrat, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dr. Piyanat Soikham, Assistant to the President for Academic Affairs.

UBU wishes for all UBU community members to stay healthy and to avoid any risk of being infected by cancelling or postponing travels to countries or special administrative regions at risk for COVID-19.
