On behalf of UBU, Assistant Professor Dr. Chutinun Prasitpuriprecha, President and UBU executive membersproudly welcomed M.R. Sukhumbhand Paribatra, Chairman of Chumbhot-Pantip Foundation, and his delegation for their on-campus visit.The aims of the visit were to follow up on a discussion regarding scholarship recipients from the foundation and to interview new scholarship applicants for the 2020 academic year. The event was held on 25 February 2020 in the Warin Chamrap Meeting Room, the Office of the President Building, UBU.
The Chumbhot-Pantip Foundationhas been offering scholarships to UBU students since 1994. Every year, the final selection process is conducted through interviews held by the selection committee of the foundation. This year, the foundation is offering scholarships to 10 Thai university students. To date, 25 applicants from 5 different universities/institutions were selected for an interview. The universities/institutions and the number of applicants are listed below:
1. Ubon Ratchathani University 12 applicants
2. Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University 3 applicants
3. Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Sunpasitthiprasong Hospital 4 applicants
4. Buriram Rajabhat University 3 applicants
5. Nakhon Phanom University 3 applicants
UBU expresses their deepest gratitude to the Chumbhot-Pantip Foundation. With their continued support, many students around Thailand will be able to continue their studies and become quality graduates who will help better our country.
