Participants consisted of both UBU and high school staff and students from around the local communities. The objective of the event was to raise awareness on Japanese traditions and culture. It also aimed to provide an opportunity for high school and university students to network and build a stronger connection through their Japanese skills. UBU hopes that the event served as an inspiration for high school students to major in the university’s Japanese Language and Communication major.
