On 29-31 January 2020, the Faculty of Applied Arts and Architecture at Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU) and Toyota Motor Thailand Co., Ltd. co-organized the Toyota Art Camp at U-Place Hotel, UBU. The camp was in response to the royal thought to improve students’ skills of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The camp was officially opened by Assistant Professor Dr. Chutinun Prasitpuriprecha, President while the objectives of the camp were delivered by Mr. Kosol Panchapapawin, Corporate Planning Managerof Toyota Motor Thailand Co., Ltd. The camp aimed to provideknowledge on commercial design in order to develop and improve their commercial design skills. Moreover, it aimed to specifically help students in educational institutions outside of Bangkok. At the camp, the students were trained then encouraged to design their own products for a competition. The best products will be selected to receive prizes in the final round which will be held on 21 February 2020.
