UBU celebrates King Nangklao (Rama III) Memorial Day and Thai Civil Servants’ Day

On 31 March 2020, Ubon Ratchathani Province hosted a royal event on King Nangklao Memorial Dayor King Rama III Phra Maha Jesada Raja Memorial Day. The event was organized to commemorate the birth anniversary of King Nangklao (Rama III), the third monarch of Siam in the Chakri dynasty which corresponds to the date of 31 March 1787 and held at Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Hall. On behalf of UBU,Mr. Atthapong Karwan, Vice President for Personnel Administrationparticipated in the event. Mr. Sarit Witoon, the Governor of Ubon Ratchathani Province, presided over the ceremony and led representatives from government organizations and private sectors as well as the general public to show loyalty and gratitude to the noble King by performing a fresh flower tray laying ceremony in front of a royal portrait of King Rama III.

On the same day, Thai Civil Servants' Day was also organized whichfalls on 1st of April every year. The event was to honor all civil servants as well as promote their realization of morality, honesty, duties and qualifications of being good civil servants.
