UBU took an oath of allegiance to be good civil servants to honor His Majesty the King’s Birthday

On 23 July 2020, UBU organized an oath ceremony at His Majesty’s 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary Commemorating Building, Ubon Ratchathani University.  Assistant Professor Dr. Chutinun Prasitpuriprecha, President, led UBU staff in taking an oath of allegiance to the King promising to be good civil servants in front of a royal portrait of the king. Assistant Professor Dr. Chutinun Prasitpuriprecha began by delivering the benediction. Afterward, all of the participants repeated the oath. At the end of the ceremony, they sang together the Thai royal anthem (Sansoen Phra Barami) and Sadudee Jomracha and saluted.

The oath ceremony inculcates and strengthens government officials’ awareness and recognition of becoming good civil servants, driving the development of the country, following in His Majesty's footsteps. This results in the creation of a higher quality of life for the people and the prosperity of the country.
