On the 7th of October 2020, UBU welcomed H.E. Mrs Suchitra Durai, Ambassador of India to Thailand with 3 colleagues from the Indian Embassy in Thailand. The visit sought academic collaboration and visits with UBU internal affairs center. Assistant Professor Dr. Chutinun Prasitpuriprecha, UBU President, gave a welcome speech and a token of appreciation at the Warin Chamrap Room, 3rd floor, Office of the President. After the meeting, the ambassador visited UBU internal affairs center and discussed academic collaboration in the future with the UBU hospital and the Faculty of Engineering, and gave a special lecture entitled “Indian Politics, Society, and International Policy” at the Faculty of Political Science.
UBU was delighted and honored to welcome the distinguished guests and sought collaboration with international institutions. The collaboration was focused on Indian government scholarship for graduate students and postdoctoral appointment, expert exchange for development of a joint degree including research development with topflight Indian universities.
