The Faculty of Engineering in cooperation with the Thai Society of Mechanical Engineers (TSME), organized the 11th International Conference on Mechanical Engineering TSME-ICoME 2020 on the 1st through the 4th of December, 2020, at the Sunee Grand Hotel, Ubon Ratchathani. Professor Dr.Phadungsak Rattanadecho, Chairman of TSME gave a welcome speech to the participants and Assistant Professor Dr. Chutinun Prasitpuriprecha, UBU President opened the conference and Assistant Professor Dr. Prachasanti Triyasoot, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering, UBU gave the report. This conference was organized under the concept “Challenging Trends in Mechanical Engineering” that analyzed trends in technology, knowledge, and modern Mechanical Engineering research. Many researchers, lecturers, and students presented their research during the conference.  

 

Assistant Professor Dr. Mongkol Pusayatanont, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, noted that the conference was the 11th such among these on-going conferences For the 30th anniversary of UBU, the Faculty of Engineering was honored to be the host for this conference with TSME and the partners from inside and outside Thailand. There were more than 120 journals, divided into nine groups as follows:

 

 

Moreover, Assistant Professor Dr. Prachasanti Triyasoot also noted that this was the first time the conference integrated online and on-site participation with researchers from Thailand and other nations participating. The conference focused on the evolution of technology with particular regard to the Department of Mechanical Engineering, which was presented with the challenge of producing and presenting research.
