Undergraduate Scholarship

International AdmissionS Undergraduate Scholarships
Apply for admission and scholarship at the same time. Applicants who wish to be considered for an undergraduate scholarship must submit all required admission documents with their program application. These documents will also be used for scholarship consideration.

How to Apply Scholarship consideration is integrated into the undergraduate admission process. No separate scholarship application is required.

Application Submit the program application and all required admission documents. These documents will also be used for scholarship consideration.

Eligibility Review Admission and scholarship eligibility are reviewed.

Scholarship Selection Eligible applicants are considered for the scholarship based on the documents submitted with their program application.

Result Scholarship recipients are announced according to the university selection schedule.
Eligibility Applicants must meet the admission and scholarship requirements specified by Ubon Ratchathani University.
International Applicant Applicants must be international students applying for an eligible Bachelor's degree program at Ubon Ratchathani University.
Admission Requirements Applicants must meet the general admission requirements and any program-specific requirements applicable to their selected degree program.
Scholarship Supporting Documents Required scholarship supporting documents must be submitted together with the admission application for scholarship consideration.
Scholarship Benefits Scholarship recipients receive the following benefits, subject to the applicable scholarship conditions.
Tuition Fee Fully Waived Tuition fee waiver during the scholarship period.
International Student Fee 7,500 THB Waived International student fee waiver of 7,500 THB.
On-campus Accommodation Free On-campus dormitory accommodation during the scholarship period.
Annual Visa Extension Fee Up to 4 Times Coverage of the annual visa extension fee during the scholarship period, up to four times.
Additional benefit for IB: A monthly allowance of 3,000 THB is available only for the program specifically identified with this benefit on the Program Card.
Scholarship Conditions Scholarship recipients must comply with the following conditions throughout the scholarship period.
Admission Status Must be admitted to UBU and selected for the scholarship The recipient must have passed the admission selection process of Ubon Ratchathani University and have been selected as an eligible scholarship recipient.
Study Plan & Course Registration Follow the prescribed study plan and register for at least 70% The recipient must study within the period prescribed by the curriculum and follow the semesters specified in the program's study plan. In each semester, the recipient must register for courses amounting to at least 70% of the prescribed study plan, unless otherwise considered by the scholarship committee on a case-by-case basis.
Scholarship Duration & Academic Performance 4 Academic Years · Maintain a GPAX of 3.00 The scholarship is provided for 4 academic years. Scholarship recipients must maintain a cumulative GPA (GPAX) of 3.00. Scholarship continuation is determined according to the academic performance conditions below.
GPAX 3.00+ Scholarship continues The student remains eligible for the scholarship in the following semester.
GPAX 2.80–2.99 Warning Scholarship continues for the next semester The student remains eligible for the scholarship in the following semester, subject to the next semester's academic result.
GPAX below 2.80 Not eligible for the scholarship in the following semester This applies if the GPAX is below 2.80 in any semester, including the first semester.
After receiving a warning Academic performance will be reviewed again in the following semester.
GPAX returns to 3.00+ Scholarship continues
GPAX remains below 3.00 Not eligible for the scholarship in the following semester
University Regulations Must comply with UBU regulations Scholarship recipients must not possess any qualifications or characteristics that are contrary to the applicable Ubon Ratchathani University regulations.
International Student Activities At least 80% participation Scholarship recipients must participate in activities for international students organized by the Division of International Affairs, Ubon Ratchathani University, for at least 80% of the total activity hours in each semester.
