Admission Requirements:

Requirements
  1. Hold a Master’s Degree in Agriculture or a related field with a GPA of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale; or have at least two years of agricultural work experience if the GPA is below 3.00, and be approved for research potential by the curriculum administrative committee
  2. Meet the English language proficiency test requirements specified by the university
  3. Fulfill any additional eligibility requirements as determined by the respective program committee

Doctor of Philosophy (Food Technology)

Note:

* Those who hold a Master’s Degree from fields unrelated to food science and technology must enroll in 1205 801 Principles of Food Science and Technology as a foundational subject.

** The advisor may require students to take non-credit courses to supplement their knowledge and present the improvement of thesis.

  3. Fulfill any additional eligibility requirements as determined by the respective program committee
