Student Appeal Procedure

Following the assessment of student learning, instructors shall announce scores to students to ensure fairness, transparency, and verification.

Should students identify any discrepancies, they may appeal the assessment results through several initial channels, including the Instructor, the Academic Advisor, or the Program Chair.

The program also provides two formal channels for submitting an appeal regarding grades:

Channel 1: Via the Instructor, Academic Advisor, or Program Chair

The procedure is as follows:

  1. Students may contact the instructor directly to request details and clarification on the assessment methodology.
  2. If the student remains dissatisfied or has unresolved concerns after consulting the instructor (from step 1), they may submit a formal appeal to the Program Chair.

Channel 2: Via the Academic Affairs Office, Faculty of Engineering

  1. Students may obtain an appeal form from the Academic Affairs Office, Faculty of Engineering.
  2. The completed form must be submitted to the designated complaint/submission box located at the Academic Affairs Office, Faculty of Engineering.
  3. The Academic Affairs Office will then forward the appeal to the Program Chair for further action.

Additional Feedback Mechanisms

Furthermore, the university provides an opportunity for students to express their opinions regarding the university's educational management. This feedback can be submitted through the information system of the Educational Service Division, where students may provide various comments and suggestions.
