Student Admission
The student admission process shall be in accordance with the regulations and procedures of Ubon Ratchathani University.
Subsequently, the selection of a major specialization will occur upon completion of the first year. This selection process is governed by the criteria established by the Faculty of Engineering, as follows:
1. Students required to select a major are first-year students who have been admitted or students from other years who have not yet selected a major.
2. The number of students admitted to each department's major is subject to the approval of the Faculty Committee and the student-to-lecturer ratio.
3. The academic performance in the following 10 courses (22 credits) will be used for major selection:

4. Scoring Method
4.1 The scores are in accordance with Ubon Ratchathani University's Bachelor's Degree Education Regulations (2004) (Grades A to F).
4.2 Courses with "W" or "I" symbols, incomplete scores, or those not yet registered for, will be assigned a score of 0.
4.3 For transferred courses, the original transferred scores will be used.
4.4 The average score of the courses listed in section (3) will be calculated.
5. Major Selection Process
Students must fill out the required information and select their preferred majors in order of priority (1st to 6th choices) via the online system or by submitting the major selection form to the Academic Affairs Office.
6.1 Students who were previously enrolled in the Faculty of Engineering, re-admitted as new students, and have successfully transferred all the courses listed in section (3) may submit a special request for major selection. These students will be included in the total number of admitted students as per section (2).
6.2 Students who have previously studied at the Faculty of Engineering and have transferred a minimum of 12 credits in their former major may choose to return to that same major if they wish.
6.3 Students not covered in section 6.1 and 6.2 will be assigned to their chosen major based on the priority of their selections and their scores, as calculated in section 4.
