On 28 May 2019, Assistant Professor Dr. Chutinun Prasitpuriprecha, the UBU President expressed her deepest condolences for the death of H.E. General Prem Tinsulanonda, Privy Council president and statesman by signing in the official condolences book. Signing in the book is a symbolic act that represents the unison of the Thai people grieving together for a significant loss to the country. The honorable event was held at Ubon Ratchathani City Hall. Ubon Ratchathani Province is allowing all interested persons to sign the condolences book from now up until 2 June 2019 during the times of 09.00 -16.00 o’ clock. Additionally, during this time (from now until 17 June 2019), Thai people are highly encouraged to wear black to respectfully offer their condolences to this great loss.
