13th UBU Agricultural Fair 2020 at UBU open from 7 Feb. - 16 Feb. Don’t miss it!

On 7 February 2020, the 13th UBU Agricultural Fair 2020 titled Kaset Isantai (Southern Isan Agricultural Fair) was officially opened at Ubon Ratchathani University. The ceremony began with welcoming remarks delivered by Mr. Wiruj Wichaiboon, Vice Governor of Ubon Ratchathani Province. Then, Professor Dr. Chomchin Chantaraskul, Chairman of UBU Council reported the objectives of the event. Afterward, Mr. Chalermchai Sreeon, Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives presided over the opening ceremony. He also presented plaques of honor to the sponsors of the fair and certificates to outstanding farmers who were honorably recognized by the Rubber Authority of Thailand. During this special occasion, Assistant Professor Dr. Chutinun Prasitpuriprecha, President of UBU, also presented tokens of appreciation to the distinguished guests and sponsors for their collaboration and support. 

At the fair, participants will be able to enjoy a variety of activities such as shopping for agricultural products, food and plants, learning about the newest agricultural innovations and the hydroponic planting system, and taking beautiful pictures in a vegetable tunnel, a beautiful flower garden or with the mini petting zoo!Participants can also attend various agricultural workshops or leisurely enjoy cultural performances and competitions on the main stage.

Individuals from all over the province (and throughout Thailand) are invited to attend! This event is especially a great opportunity for those who are agriculturally savvy to directly engage with agricultural experts from multiple organizations under the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives.

All in all, the fair will be held from 7 February 2020 to 16 February 2020 at the Faculty of Agriculture, UBU. UBU looks forward to welcoming all participants. See you there!
